News: UK Pop Punks WSTR release brand new single 'Featherweight'

WSTR have now released a brand new single 'Featherweight', available to download and stream everywhere from today (6th December). The new track is the 3rd to be taken from forthcoming debut album 'Red, Green or Inbetween' - due for release on Jan 20th through No Sleep Records.

WSTR frontman Sammy Clifford explains a bit about 'Featherweight':

"This is the most WSTR song we have ever written. It shows that we're grade A real life losers and I really hope lots of people will admit to being able to relate to it."

After the heralding success of their debut EP - 'SKRWD' (No Sleep Records - Sept 2015), the band have gone from strength to strength and achieved many accolades that most acts don't achieve off the back of only one EP. 2016 saw WSTR repeatedly circuit the UK and Europe with international touring bands such as Neck Deep, A Wilhelm Scream, Moose Blood & Creeper, and were welcomed onto established festival slots, at Slam Dunk Festival, 2000trees, Hevy Fest and Butserfest.

On the live front, WSTR will be on tour in Jan and Feb next year supporting the brilliant Seaway. Recently, the band headed out in October and November on headline dates, followed by their first Irish dates, supporting ROAM in late November.
