Interviews: AS I MAY

We have had the opportunity to interview the Melodic Metal band AS I MAY from Finland. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

We did get an idea from one old song name. It was 2015. We just looked from google that there aren't any similar names and took it. These days we might choose differently, but we just have to go with it.

2. Why did you want to play this genre? 

Well, overall heavy music has a lot of dynamic and power. Of course, we like many different types of music, but metal is just that we want to play and write.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed? 

No we didn't this band has got its form over years and unfortunately we have had past members, mainly drummers

4. Each band member favourite band? 

Tipi Motörhead, Jani Tuure Boellius, Lasse Rage Against The Machine, Leevi Lorna Shore

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

It can be anything. Some riff, Netflix series, Painting, Mood

6. Where was your last gig?

Kuopio-Rock Finland

7. Where would you like to act?

Wacken

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

This is hard. If just one song, Perhaps something from the past...Prodigy

9. Whom not?

Anything goes if the idea is great, depending on the idea

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Everybody has . Not so much anymore. Some of us maybe little. If you are well prepared for the show then it's easier. You will get used to it and then it feels normal

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Hard.... a lot of those. Dire Straits, In Flames, Offspring, Big 4

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Can't remember any weird staff or can't tell

13. What do you think of your fans?

We love every one of them. They are the reason why we do this

14. What do you think of our site?

I think those are very cool. One thing that I haven't seen anywhere else or can't remember is that you have bands listed to countries.
