Interviews: Krvsade
This is a new interview with the Black Metal/Thrash Metal/Death Metal band Krvsade from the USA. Check out the interview and follow the band on his FACEBOOK PAGE.
1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you plan it or came out just like that?
The idea spawned from the idea of combining multiple genres together to create what is the sound of krvsade...as a traditional crusade is a collaboration of multiple tribes or nations together to achieve a common goal, we assumed that would be a good name to fit what we are creating
2. Why did you want to play this genre?
Blackened death metal or specifically black metal is a very freeing and expressive genre...one that allows us to do what we want with no boundaries or borders..many people think of the generic aspect of black metal but don't understand the spiritual part of the genre..you can play whatever essential as long as the true aspect and attitude of the genre is there...
3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?
No...we met because of the band...I (Andre ) started the band with a different lineup in the Beth and through lineup changes, we all met and became lifelong brothers
4. Each band member's favorite band?
Andre: Deströyer 666
Jeb: Black Sabbath
Arthur: Death
Keegan: cattle decapitation
5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?
Death and nature and life..that is what inspires us all real things that happen no matter what as humans we must experience...nature is sadly an optional one in today's society but I implore all to go into nature and experience it, center yourself and become one with life...death, the real end...the true truth of life. No matter who it is it will happen, you can't ignore it..that's inspiration no matter what. Life..it's us and our essence life as is important as death...you must endure unless you choose to leave early
6. Where was your last gig?
A Monday night in support of nuclear tomb..super sick tech thrash!
7. Where would you like to act?
Europe is the goal...so much of our inspiration is in Europe too playing the homeland of black metal would be a dream
8. Whom would you like to feature with?
So many bands but top 3? Deströyer 666, Diocletian, Watson
9. Who not?
Any bullshit deathcore or emo bands
10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?
I'm in the beginning for sure...best advice...be prepared on your part...it should be automated..no thought. That way you can play and focus on having fun. Also good advice no one thinks...rehearse anything you do on stage in practice or at home...if you practice it beforehand it'll stick better...don't try any moves for the first time on stage..just don't
11. What bands have inspired you the most?
Most of the second-wave black metal bands. Music and attitude definitely
12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?
And autograph, we aren't that big of a band so people asking for it is pretty weird. I guess another would be a pick I used, it wasn't special so it was just a regular pick...that's pretty weird
13. What do you think of your fans?
Loyal, dedicated, and hungry...they always want the newest stuff from us but always come to any
14. What do you think of our site?
Support of the underground, total love for all
We love you, and it
15. Something to add?
Keep loving metal and hail death!!
