Abigail Affair - Interview

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you a new interview to the Metalcore band Abigail Affair from Mexico. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview and also like their FACEBOOK PAGE

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that? 

It just came out like that, nothing special

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

We didn't planned to play this genre but we all kind of liked metal core and decided that's what we were going to play.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed? 

Just two of us, (Javo and Gus). We knew the rest later through Facebook.

4. Each band member favourite band? 

Avenged Sevenfold (Ian), Pierce The Veil (Javo), Erra (Jesus), Of Mice & Men (Gus) and our new member, Underoath (david).

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs? 

Who? Blessthefall and August burns Red on one side. On the other hand I (Javo) personally write because I want the people to hear the music I do/write because I really enjoy to make music.

6. Where was your last gig? 

We played on January 12th, at a local venue called Fred's Bar.

7. Where would you like to act? 

Most of the band would like to tour all around the world, two of the places' or shows that come to our mind is the Vans Warped Tour, the Rock AM Ring and we would love to play at the House of Blues.

8. Whom would you like to feature with? 

We differ in opinions: Pierce the Veil, Asking Alexandria, I see Stars, Issues and personally (David) Vanna.

9. Whom not? 

Any of those Doom / Black / Metal bands were the band members wear make-up and stuff.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? 

Some of us have

11. Any tip for beginners on how to beat that? 

The tip is: "Prepared yourself and focus on your shit, just enjoy the moment"

11. What bands have inspired you the most? 

We can't really have one or two bands specifically that inspired us to play or write, it's the combination of all the bands and different styles that we share when gathering.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

This weird guy, one time asked us for "anything that had to do with us" and it was creepy. We ended up giving him a snare head signed by us.

13. What do you think of your fans? 

We're very thankful for the support they give us. I guess we and the fans, both enjoy the same type of music. It's a shared joy.

14. What do you think of our site? 

We love it, through your page a lot of bands get the promotion they need even if they're not quite popular. It's a good focus that ever band in the scene needs.

15. Something to add?

We're actually in studio at the moment, writing some new stuff other than the EP we have. We're hoping to release it by December. Thanks for the attention, we hope to hear from you again soon. and keep it up with the page, it's sick.
