Lie In Skin - Interview

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Post-Hardcore  band Lie In Skin from USA, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, enjoy this excellent interview.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that? 

We got the idea for our name from people going through life just living to survive, instead of enjoying their life the way they should be. Hence the "Lie" in "Lie In Skin"

2. Why did you want to play this genre? 

We all wanted to play in this genre of music because it's out casted by other genres, and just seems more powerful and emotional than most other genres. Music should move you in a way that can't be explained,  and we think this genre does it best.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed? 

We knew each other from past bands we were in together, and whenever we were all band -less we decided to give it a shot with each other again, and it worked out perfectly.

4. Each band member favourite band? 

Favorite band huh?  Hmmmm. For me (Zach) it would be Our Last Night. Vicente's would be A Lot Like Birds,  and Taylors would probably be Periphery.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs? 

Everyday life. Getting inspired to write a riff or melody can come from anything.  We find inspiration in anything and everything.

6. Where was your last gig? 

Our last gig was at one of our favorite places to play hands down. Red 7 in Austin, TX.

7. Where would you like to act? 

Wwe would LOVE to get a show in California!

8. Whom would you like to feature with? 

It would be badass to play with Coheed and Cambria or I The Mighty!

9. Whom not? 

The likes of Justin Bieber would be a bad choice.  Haha.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?  

We have all suffered from stage fright at every single show we've ever played. It never goes away and the best way to deal with it is just be confident in your abilities and play through it.

11. What bands have inspired you the most? 

Our Last Night, Silverstien,  and bands like Chelsea Grin inspire our wide variety of sounds the most.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for? 

The weirdest thing a fan has ever asked us for is our autographs. Haha. We were really caught off guard and just didn't expect it. We consider ourselves to be a great band, we just didn't think we were of that stature yet.

13. What do you think of your fans? 

At the risk of sounding like every other fucking band out there, we owe the world to our fans. If they didn't listen to and spread our music we would be nothing.  More bands need to realize that.

14. What do you think of our site? 

We all think yalls site is an amazing thing. It's such a good tool for young musicians to get their point of views out there.
