Bones To Bury - Interview

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you a new interview to the Metalcore band Bones To Bury from Norway. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview and also like their FACEBOOK PAGE  cause these band is epic.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?  

Our former bassist came up with the band name. I know he had a deep meaning behind it, but I think we should keep that to ourselves, let the fans think for themselves.  

2.Why did you want to play this genre?  

It’s basically the genre we are closest to and what we're best at.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?  

When we started in August last year Ruben(vocals) knew Jay(rhythm guitar/vocals) and Håkon(lead guitar), but they didn’t know each other. Jay knew Kevin(drums) and that’s how he came in to the picture. The band was not started with Jonas(bass/vocals), he came in when we kicked out our former bass player in September. Kevin and Ruben knew Jonas before he joined the band.  

4. Each band member favourite band?  

Ruben(Vocals) - Asking Alexandria, Suicide silence, Adept, Ensiferum, Insomnium, Bong Temple, Five finger death punch, Upon A burning body, I killed the prom queen, Honningbarna, Bleed from within,

Kevin(Drums) - Opeth, Gojira, The reign of kindo

Jonas(Bass/Clean vocals) - Opeth

Håkon(Lead guitar) - Metallica, Avenged Sevenfold, Volbeat, Slipknot, Rammstein, As I lay dying, Trivium and Five Finger Death Punch.

Jay (Rythm guitar/Clean vocals) - Ed Sheeran

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

We’re inspired by a lot of other bands both inside and outside of our genre and what happens in the world society at the moment.

6. Where was your last gig?  

Larvik, Norway

7. Where would you like to act?  

There are many places we would like to perform, such as Rock am Ring, Download and Wacken!

8. Whom would you like to feature with?  

Randy Blythe from Lamb of God

9. Whom not?  

Justin Bieber  

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?  

Yeah. Our vocalist still has some problems with stage fright, and his tip to keep the nerves down is to jump around and scream before he enters the stages. Our lead guitarist had some problems with it, but since he is a Christian he prays before he enters the stage. Having a reliable band is also a good thing. Trust your mates and enjoy it.  

11. What bands have inspired you the most? 

As I Lay Dying, Asking Alexandria, Bleed from within, Killswitch Engage, The sorrow, Metallica, Avenged Sevenfold  

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

The weirdest episode with a fan must be when a fan saw Håkon at the local McDonald’s. She came over and started playing with his hair without asking. He was really frightened when he came back to the rehearsal room. 

13. What do you think of your fans?  

We love our fans, they’re really great! Considering the short amount of time we’ve been around we think it’s crazy that we even have fans!  
14. What do you think of our site?  

We think this page is great! A good chance for many bands to promote themselves, so all respect to you guys for that! Keep it up!
