Hey Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Metalcore / Hardcore  band Burdened Hearts from USA, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, enjoy this excellent interview of this more excellent band.
1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

The band name was planned on my end, but more through where I felt God was leading me in life and with ministry. A lot of people get turned off to Christianity because of how the church comes across, and how we come across may not always be our intention. As a Christian who has been living by faith for nearly 6 years now, I can say I've had struggles continually that anyone else would have. Working out my faith is how I choose to go about it, but I'm no better than anyone else. With that said, my heart is always breaking not only for myself, but for people who view God as awful and wrong, due to how people who claim to follow God may appear. The name came as a means to truly show people that as Christians, we are as broken and we struggle as much as everyone else. The aim with "Burdened Hearts" is for the five of us to be as transparent as possible with everyone who may come into contact with us, to show them that they're truly not alone, and that we are no better, but we want the best for ourselves, and for others, and we believe that Jesus offers the means for such.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

Personally, I've always preferred the metalcore/hardcore scenes because of the passion I see through it. People are all here for some reason, whether they are angry, or feel rejected, or just enjoy being a downright rebel. The main reason we want to play this genre aside from our love for it, is to share our passion and love for God and others through it.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

We vaguely knew each other before forming the band. Nick and I had become close friends earlier in 2013. Caleb and Casey have been best friends for a good number or years and they both knew Tyler vaguely. Nick and I didn't meet Caleb and Casey until October of 2013, actually. Nick was going to join an older band the two of them were a part of. Once that fell through, The three of them decided to start something new, and wanted Tyler and I to hop on. Right around then is when we all began getting to know each other.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Nick: From The Eyes Of Servants
Caleb: Erra
Casey: August Burns Red
Tyler: Counterparts My own favorite is Emery.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

We have a few inspirations. The biggest would have to be Jesus Christ. We wouldn't be doing any of this if not for His love for us driving us to do so. Our second inspiration are others in the world. We want to do our best to love on others, unconditionally, and truly show them that there is Hope, and that they are loved, worth everything, and not alone. Our third inspiration would be our own hearts, and our own struggles, which we want to share for the sake of the Glory of the first, and the transparency to the second.

6. Where was your last gig?

Haha, well actually, we haven't played a show yet as Burdened Hearts. Our first will be in Springfield, VA at Empire on January 25th. Doors are at 2pm and you can get tickets here:   http://ampedandalive.com/eventdetails.aspx?eventId=1464

7. Where would you like to act?

We would love to play Soundwave, maybe South By So What, a local warped tour date or something, haha. We don't really have a preference, being able to play in someone's house would be fantastic, as long as we get to do what we love.   8. Whom would you like to feature with?  Underoath and The Chariot, but boys can dream, hahaha. Fit For A King, Stray From The Path, For Today and August Burns Red. That would be a fun one.

9. Whom not?

We don't really have a preference on who we wouldn't play with. Music is a universal language, and there's so much that can be learned from every person we could share a stage with. We'd joyfully embrace that.

10. What bands have inspired you the most?

For Today changed Nick's life, but that's a different story for a different time. We draw a lot of influence musically from our favorite bands to jam out to. On a level deeper than music, bands including Switchfoot, For Today, Emery, August Burns Red, Underoath and As Hell Retreats have lyrics that have saved our lives at times. Oh, and Levi the Poet and Chris Bernstorf are huge influences too.

11. What do you think of our site?

Well we didn't know of your site until you asked to interview us. But we checked it out thoroughly and all fell in love with it. It's passion for the likes of Metal/Hardcore really interests us and it shows that you all really care about what you're doing. So in short, We love your site!
