Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you a new interview to the Melodic Hardcore band BURNING DOWN ALASKA from Germany. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview and also like their FACEBOOK PAGE cause these band is epic.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

We want to provoke with this name but we don't dislike alaska in particular.  The name stands for the way we (mankind) treat the world and the life we are given.  Alaska is just an example. In contrast to that the name also kind of stands for everything you experience when you see us live.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

I don't know if we actually fit in any genre and we never aimed for.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Yes but we were not as close friends as we are now.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Tobias - Architects

Dario - The 1975/Bastille

Jonas - Disco Ensemble/Lorde

Marvin - Paramore     Julian - Issues/Counterparts

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Nights spent in the rehearsalroom, experiences with other people .

6. Where was your last gig?

Hamminkeln, Germany.

7. Where would you like to act?

Vans Warped Tour, Soundwave, every big festival.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Sam Carter, Ellie Goulding.

9. Whom not?

No one in particular

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright?Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Not really, the feeling for the music should just make it out.

11. What bands have you inspired the most?

Every band we listen to leaves their mark on us.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Some people asked us to sign their t-shirts.

13. What do you think of your fans?

They are the most important thing to us, so we're always trying to reach all of them and get as much feedback as we can.

14. What do you think of our site?

It's great that there are still a few sites like "Breathing The Core" who try to support smaller bands, because nowadays you really need a lot of promotion if you wanna go far one day. So please go on and thank you so much for promoting our band!
