Carson State - Interview

Hey Breathing The Core fans! Here we bring you the second interview of this day. In this case to the Post-Hardcore/Metalcore  band Carson State, from France. They are epic so nothing more to say than enjoy the interview and like their FACEBOOK PAGE!

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?  

A friend of our guitarist got busted and went to the Carson state penitentiary, we named the band like this to pay him tribute.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?  

It was the perfect mix between all our influences.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?  

Yes, we were all friends before starting the band.

4. Each band member favourite band?  

Corentin (vocals) : Underoath
Cedric (guitar) : The Eye of the Traitor
Arnaud (guitar) : Attila
Romain (bass) : Fall of Efrafa
Jimmy Neutron (drum) : For Today.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

Everything about our life, what we been through, the people we met, the cunts who betrayed us.

6. Where was your last gig?  

In our hometown, Lyon (Fr).

7. Where would you like to act? 

Everywhere in the world!!! But the U.S would be the top to reach!

8. Whom would you like to feature with?  

It's hard to say there's a lot of gifted people, for example Joey Sturgis or Cameron Mizell.

9. Whom not?  

Those who care more about money than the art.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? 

Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Yes! A good tip we can give is to drink some shot of Jäger or Rum!

11. What bands have inspired you the most?  

Bring Me The Horizon, Attila, Of Mice And Men, Memphis May Fire, The Plot in You, ...

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?  

Nothing we don't have any fans!

13. What do you think of your fans?  

They have good taste haha!

14. What do you think of our site?  

Great! We have a lot of respect for the people who act for the scene, it's one of the best way for bands like us to be promoted.
