Celesty Murder - Interview

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, our first interview! In this case to the Melodic Metalcore band Celesty Murder from Colombia. Check this band and like their Facebook Page.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?  

I guess we wanted a name you can always remember but it also has a meaning related to society, about how people will do whatever it takes just to accomplish their dreams, that's what Celesty Murder means for us.  2.Why did you want to play this genre?we grew up with this music, is the genre that we listen and we love, we are a group of dudes that find each other because our likes in music.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?  

At the beginning Iván (vocals) began the band with his all life friend Wilson, who recently left the band, so they find the others musicians by internet and then appeared Brian Camilo, with time Ivan called Diego an old friend who played with Ivan in other band. Then the band was complete, but with the time Camilo and Wilson left the band and we start the auditions and there appeared Angel and his all life friend Juan, they became the new drummer and guitarist of the band.

4. Each band member favorite band? 

Juan (Lead Guitar) : Trivium , Bullet for my valentine , Metallica
Diego (Rhythm Guitar) : Metallica, Born of Osiris, Within the ruins
Ángel (Drums): Lamb of God, Trivium, As I Lay Dying
Brian (Bass / Clean vocals) Dark Tranquility, Haste the Day, Mandroid Echostar
Iván: (Vocals) Haste the Day, The Color Morale, Wolves At The Gate

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

Our life itself that's our bigger inspiration, our experiences, our dreams, our successes and our failures  Ivan and Brian write the lyrics, the music is a product of team work

6. Where was your last gig?  

It’s called “House of Rock” It was a gig to charity and to give the less favored children Christmas presents

7. Where would you like to act?  

Everywhere, we want to reach every single corner in the world, to every single fan of this music. Of course we want to play in the big festivals and big stages but the small ones has some magic too

8. Whom would you like to feature with?  

Everyone is good to know new people and new music, also would be nice to play with our idols

9. Whom not? 

Oh, really don´t know we want to play with every single band, that would be great.

10. What bands have inspired you the most? 

Our favourite bands.

11. What do you think of our site?  

Is a really great site, your intentions of share and spread music really motivates bands to keep doing music, also this site help bands like us to reach more fans and that’s great. Something that is really great is the constant searching for promoters and bands it show the commitment that this site have with the bands and for the bands . To the fans this site is not just to find new music; also this site broke the borders and spread the music and the idea of community all over the world, that’s just wonderful.
