Hey Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview in this case to the Deathcore band In Trenches from USA. Like the FACEBOOK PAGE to stay in touch about all the new releases cause they are great.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

In Trenches got our band name from an idea from a Bermuda song, and also just throwing words out there to come up with something that was catchy.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

We all decided we wanted to pursue playing a Deathcore genre because we have a love for heavy breakdowns and playing technical parts, also everyone in the band is into heavy style of music.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Yes, Chad(drummer), James(Rhythm Guitarist), and Gabe (Lead Guitarist) grew up in school together. Jamie-(Vocals) and Aidan(Bass) have grown up together going to shows in the local Scene. In general, yes we all knew each other pretty well either from schooling, and going out to local shows supporting the scene, we all built together a great friendship with one another.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Chad- Vanna

Jamie- Whitechapel

James- After The Burial

Gabe- Between The Buried And Me

Aidan-The Last Ten Seconds Of Life

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

What inspired us the most to write songs is we wanted to put all of our life experiences into our music because its something we enjoy and can tell a story about.

6. Where was your last gig?

In Trenches last gig was April 17th Bogies, Albany, NY with Thick As Blood(Last NY Show) and Fit For An Autopsy.

7. Where would you like to act?

As a band, we honestly would like to perform anywhere that we get the opportunity to.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

We would like to tour with Traitors specifically, but then again, anybody and everybody is ok with us. On our Debut EP, we would like to feature Kyle Bihrle(Sirens and Sailors)

9. Whom not?

We would not like to deal people who are not in it for the love of the music and are just in it for the money.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Yes, our first two shows we equally were all stage fright. We paced backed and fourth and kind of forgot a couple parts to one of our songs because of nerves. The way we would suggest to conquer stage fright is to just simply get up there do it. Don't go up on stage and start thinking about am i playing this right, or is everyone going to judge us and things like that. Just get up on stage and do what you love without stressing is the best advice we could give.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

The bands that have inspired us the most would have to be: Those Who Fear, Blood of the Martyrs, Lamb of God, Whitechapel, Vanna, Sirens & Sailors, After the Burial, Between the Buried and Me, Ingested, Acranius.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

So far, the weirdest thing we have encountered so far is a new fan asked for us to mail them a signed sticker. We all thought it was awesome that a fan was that interested, but at the same time we also thought is weird because they wanted us to mail it to them. Another funny time was during our first show, during our second song of our set, not once but twice, Chads floor tom fell off the ledge of the stage and once it was picked back up by our equitment helper Gary, It fell off again.

13. What do you think of your fans?

To the band, the fans mean a lot to us. We always try to connect with new fans through social media and also after we play a set, we always stick around and talk with everybody. We love all of our fans and we thank them for giving us so much support and best wishes.

14. What do you think of our site?

In Trenches loves the site because it does great things for up and coming bands. It awesome how you guys support bands and get the names out there of bands who are trying to make it in the music industry.

15. Something to add?

If anybody likes what they hear, be sure to check us out on these websites. Also we would like to add that this summer will be our debut year. We will be hitting the studio for two weeks with Aaron Maloney(Drummer for This Or The Apocalypse).
