Last Year´s Tragedy - Interview

Hey Breathing The Core fans! Here we bring you another interview. In this case to the  Metalcore band Last Year´s Tragedy, from Kenia. They are a great band so nothing more to say than enjoy the interview and give it a like on their FACEBOOK PAGE!  

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?  

We all came up with a ridiculous amount of names back when we were starting out , think 300/400 names. We ended up choosing Last Year's Tragedy suggested by Diallo and we were like it encompasses the intended theme that we were all about and going for, which is the empowerment of learning from our past mistakes and embracing ourselves to be better in this voyage called life. 

2.Why did you want to play this genre?  

 To be honest we don't know what genre we play, we are just a bunch of warriors that play what comes via enlightenment and at the moment. however we tend to lean more on a melodic realm. 

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?  

Yeah,  we all were connected in more ways than one, some sort of a 'calling'  as you may call it.

4. Each band member favourite band?  

As always too hard too choose(an epic trait for creatives) but here goes Our Failure

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

The Universe and the eternity that is  holistically incorporated in our being.

6. Where was your last gig?  

Octoberfest Battle of the Bands (we won) 

7. Where would you like to act?  

Anywhere in the world where fans are willing to embrace music. 

8. Whom would you like to feature with?  

Those that inspire us.

9. Whom not?  

Those that don't inspire us...haha 

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? 

Definitely, just need to accept our being, be you.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

13. What do you think of your fans?  

Our fans mean the world to us, without them we are nothing. we appreciate their unfailing support for us.
