Morning Waits - Interview

Hey Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Melodic Hardcore / Metalcore  band Morning Waits from Hanoi (Vietnam), so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, enjoy this excellent interview of this more excellent band.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?  

"Morning Waits" is the name of 1 track in the album "Shadows Are Security" of As I Lay Dying. At first we planned for some other names, but this one was the outstanding, so we picked it as the final choice.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

Because after playing a few genres, we found that this one is what we want to stick with. And because it's just awesome.

3.Did you know each other before the band was formed? 

In the current lineup, only Quang(bassist) and Tung(guitarist) - also 2 founding members, knew each other. The others came later to fill the missing position after the former members left. That's was the first met of all, and we stayed to play core together.

4.Each band member favourite band?

Hieu(vocalist): Devil Wears Prada, Of Machines, Shoot The Girl First, Asking Alexandria
Duc(drummer): Bring Me The Horizon, Escape The Fate, Lamb Of God, Asking Alexandria
Hung(guitarist): Bring Me The Horizon, Killswitch Engage, The Ghost Inside, Issues
Quang(bassist): In Flames, Heaven Shall Burn, Parkway Drive, Ensiferum

5.Who or what inspires you to write songs? 

All of our inspirations come from the daily life, everything going around us. And of course, from the bands that we listen to, even from our friends’ bands.   6.Where was your last gig?  December 20th, 2013. At the concert of Metalcore/Hardcore bands, called Hanoi Core Burst 2

7.Where would you like to act?  

Anywhere open to Metalcore/Hardcore. We'd love to play at Impericon Festival or any big festivals around the world, if we can.

8.Whom would you like to feature with? 

To feature with the bands we love and influence us would be very great.

9.Whom not?  

We are open to all options. But there are some exceptions that we'd better not name them.

10.What bands have inspired you the most?   

Basically, all of our favorite bands. But we are also inspired by what we listen, from A to Z.

11.What do you think of our site?  

It's a new but very promising site. We will check ite more often to get the latest news about the Core scene. Also a good channel for the young band like us.
