Saving The Dying Hope - Interview

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you a new interview to the Metalcore/Melodic Hardcore  band Saving The Dying Hope from Philippinnes. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview and also like their FACEBOOK PAGE cause these band is epic.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?  

Tbh our band name " saving the dying hope " just came out. our supposedly name was " we cursed our brides " but it's too  "EMO" and we're not an emo band and saving the dying hope also mean that everything in this world has a chance. everything has hope. there's not  such thing as hopeless. we're here to inspire people, to motivate people not to give up on life just cause their love ones left them. or they're life is fucked up  like that. everyone deserves a second chance everyone has a hope to change and be a better person. that's why we called ourselves saving the dying hope.         
2.Why did you want to play this genre?  

Because it's each and everyone's common interest I guess. but we're trying to mix our musical influences to something unique. something no one has ever heard of. we're a melodic hardcore band. at the same time we want to play some classic metalcore style.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?  

NO we don't know everyone. our vocalist Niko knows Jed ( guitars ) because they we're classmates in college. joms ( 2nd guitars ) are friends with Gio (bass) whom keith's (drummer) friend in the same school Niko and Jed went to and lastly Mel ( synths ) this is the only guy that everyone knew. because we've been seeing him at concerts   

4. Each band member favourite band?  

Each band member favorite band:  let's start with 

Niko  : -Architects, Bring me the horizon , Being as an ocean, Heart in hand, In hearts wake, Parkway drive, saviour , northlane, whitechapel , while she sleeps. he's more into melodic stuffs  

Jed : -August Burns Red, Erra, Saviour, for all eternity, polyphia , motionless in white, As I lay dying,Parkway Drive the devil wears prada, while she sleeps. 

Joms  -Memphis may fire , Killswitch engage, dream theatre.  

Gio : -Urbandub, dream theatre, Franco, Memphis may fire, Metallica & killswitch engage  

Mel: -Born of osiris, Periphery , In Hearts Wake,Northlane Tesseract and the devil wears prada. 
Keith:  Architects, August burns red , Chelsea grin , blessthefall , saviour , motionless in white,Parkway drive, while she sleeps,

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

Our family , friends and daily life experiences inspires us to write our songs.  

6. Where was your last gig?  

Our last gig was Friday. played at a small bar alongside with great local bands 

7. Where would you like to act?  

Anywhere our music could bring us. warped tour ? Leeds festival? bring it on! hahahaha!   

8. Whom would you like to feature with?  

With any of the bands we look up to. Saviour maybe ? or while she sleeps or the devil wears prada!  any of them we would love to share the stage with the masters!

9. Whom not?  

Bands who think they can be anyone they want.  

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?  

Yes mostly our vocalist suffers stage fright most of the time when it's a big event/gig. but the tip is no matter how big the stage is always remember that they paid to see your band play. give them a good show. be yourself do what you do and fucking kill it!. 

11. What bands have inspired you the most? 

Bands inspired us is Days of January a local band here in our country and one of our good friends. internationally the band who inspires us I'd say is While she sleeps and many other bands who is leaving the comfort of their home and touring and spreading their passion all over the word.   

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

None so far haha! looking forward to how weird it's going to be   

13. What do you think of your fans?  

Our fans. hhmmmm or should I call them friends. because most of our fans are our friends also.  without their help we won't be playing shows in our country. thanks to them they're helping us reach our dreams. you guys know who you are. thank you so much! 

14. What do you think of our site?  

Breathing the core website. Love it! currently looking for some good melodic hardcore band in your site hahah!
