The Heart Instict - Interview

Hey Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Melodic Hardcore band The Heart Instict from Australia, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, enjoy this excellent interview of this more excellent band.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?   

Fabio and I were thinking of names and we came up with The Heart Instinct. We stuck with the name because the meaning we felt was what best described us and the type of music we wanted to show to the world. The Instinct of the heart.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?       

We chose to play this genre because its our favourite genre. We all listen to the bands who belong to this genre and we feel them the most.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?     

I was in a previous band with Fabio and my other mate Andrea (Monalisa Bay). Zico contacted us after we formed and was heaps keen to get this band going.

4. Each band member favourite band?     

Fabio's Favourite band is 'The Dangerous Summer', Zicos Favourite band is 'Northlane', and My favourite band would have to be..hmm this is hard, it would be 'Liferuiner'. Them Feels....

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?    

We are mostly inspired by our experiences in life. Our trials and errors always define us, we just want to show the world. Also, the promise of playing shows with local bands ( Awakening/ShallowGrave etc) and also one day international touring inspires us heaps.

6. Where was your last gig?

Still gig virgins, I guess this is a good time to plug our band.. WE ARE LOOKING FOR A BASS/DRUMMER!!

7. Where would you like to act? 

Id ultimately like to play Download festival or Soundwave. Something with atmosphere!

8. Whom would you like to feature with?  

Id love to play a show side by side with Monalisa Bay (Italy) Also Liferuiner/Counterparts/Heart in hand of course.

9. Whom not?   

We are pretty keen on playing shows with good dudes. no good dudes = Not wanting to play

10. What bands have inspired you the most?  

For me personally, Bands that use that raw emotion, Hearing the fear/sadness/hate/love in someones voice which is then complimented by huge emotional guitar chords/synths/strings etc.. a song that holds a place atop this list is White Light by The Ghost Inside...Fuuuuuu..

11. What do you think of our site?      

I think your site is what the music scene needs more of. Independent sites dedicated to giving local music a go. Hats off mate.
