We Killed Samantha - Interview

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?     

We were brainstorming once on a drinking session with the band about what were going to name the band. Then there was this doll that we named Samantha. We got to the point that we named the band after it and added the words "We Killed" to make it more sweet. hehe    

2.Why did you want to play this genre?     

We just came up to the idea of playing Deathcore being influenced by the bands that we like.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?    

Yes, actually we came from different local bands.     

4. Each band member favourite band?     

KD (Vocals): Suicide Silence, Lamb of God and Alesana.    
Mike (Guitars): Dream Theater, Suicide Silence, Suffokate and Chelsea Grin.    
Curt (Guitars): Bring Me The Horizon and Suicide Silence.    
Adrianne (Bass): Dream Theater and SLIPKNOT.    
Renz (Drummer): Lamb of God and Dream Theater.    

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?     

Our songs arewritten from our ideals and we relate literature to reality.

6. Where was your last gig?     

It was on Dec. 29, 2013 at the Santa Goes Metal gig here in our locality.    

7. Where would you like to act?     

Anywhere, as long as we are welcome to play.    

8. Whom would you like to feature with?     

Any core bands would do.    

9. Whom not?     

We would rather not answer this question.     

10. What bands have inspired you the most?     

Dream Theater, Lamb of God and Suicide Silence
