Hey Breathing The Core fans,  here we bring you another interview of the  Metalcore  band  Wecanwalkonwatertoo  from Denmark, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, enjoy this excellent interview of this more excellent band.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that? 

Basically because we were just fooling around with random stupid names (let's face it. all the good ones are taken.), and then one of us came up with WE CAN WALK ON WATER TOO. But since that was a hella long name, we chose to write it without spaces between the words. Wecanwalkonwatertoo.

2.Where did you get the idea for the EP name? 

As we speak, we still haven't found a EP name. Everything else is in order, except that. Hopefully we'll find a good name soon. There's a connection between all the song titles, so we need that connection as well for the EP name.

3.Why did you want to play this genre? 

Most of the band doesn't even listen to music with clean vocals and stuff, and we just want it hard and with breakdowns and slams. So really without choosing a genre, we just started playing these deathcore ish tunes. 

4. Did you know each other before the band was formed? 

Yes, some of knew each other from kinder garten and some of us went to elementary school with each other. But we all met at a venue-like place called "Ungdommens Hus".

5. Each band member favourite band? 

That's always a hard question. But we grew up in/near a "hardcore" city. But we also listen to a lot of black metal, and when driving to shows, we like to listen to old nu-metal albums from back when we were young. The old KoRn albums still kick ass!

6. Who or what inspires you to write songs? 

Lyric wise it's mostly just about being pissed at someone or something, and then convincing yourself to use that negative energy for something useful.

7. Where was your last gig? 

That was in Kolding, Denmark, at a place called Pitstop. Good show with some friends of ours called New Discolour, Leviathan's Ocean and Contrition.

8. Where would you like to act? 

Probably some big tour or festival. Download, Vans Warped, With Full Force or something. We haven't tried stuff like that yet.

9. Whom would you like to feature with? 

It would be cool to do a collaboration with some rapper like Thrash Talk/OFWGKTA. But if not that, then probably Whitechapel, The Black Dahlia Murder... Attila.. Cradle of Filth.

10. Whom not? 

We would probably play with most bands, as long as they aren't nazies or something. Hahah. But then again, they probably wouldn't invite us.

11. What bands have inspired you the most? 

We took a lot of inspiration from the obvious deathcore bands such as Whitechapel, old Chelsea Grin, Oceano etc. But also from newer acts such as Make Them Suffer. The whole "blackened" deathcore thing is really sweet.

12. What do you think of our site? 

It's pretty sweet! Sites like this really gives smaller bands a chance to come out. Support your scene. Support the underground. Punch your best friend in the face during a moshpit and hug him afterwards. That's what we love.
