1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?
It just sort of came to me one day when I was trying to think of names. I thought about what it could mean, and if represented me, or my message well. To me the name feels like an ode to those who put their faith in Jesus Christ. It also could stimulate the thought for those who once believed, and no longer do.
2.Why did you start this solo project?
The last year and a half I have been resting from serious burnout with previous projects. I began to feel the itch again, and committed to finishing a couple of songs. Once those sings were finished I felt comfortable launching the project knowing I can finish a few more and enjoy releasing music on my own terms.
3.Why did you want to play this genre?
I've always been heavily influenced by older Between The Buried and Me. It's still what I am passionate about playing, and what I want hear more of stylistically as a listener. It's sort of my goal to write and record music in that vein with today's production quality.
4. Your favourite band?
Take a wild guess...
5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?
I think what inspires me to write is negativity. It is in such abundance now days that I constantly feel the need to counterbalance that. I've always been passionate about trying to be the most positive influence I can be to others on this earth. Music is my voice, and my vehicle.
6. Where would you like to act?
I've always wanted to go overseas and play. I've heard there are some very passionate metal fans in Europe. I would also like to play some of the big US metal states like New York, California, and Florida.
7. Whom would you like to feature with?
It's always been a dream to play with BTBAM. If Necrophagist, Into The Moat, and A Life Once Lost were on that tour I would probably never feel the need to play music anymore as that would never be topped.
8.Whom not?
I could be nice and not mention bands but how about any post hardcore/metal core bands ever.
9. What bands have inspired you the most?
Between The Buried and Me, Necrophagist, Into The Moat, A Life Once Lost, and Isis.
10. What do you think of our site?
Love the color scheme, and the name. I appreciate your guys support, and this interview!
