Wishing The Sunset - Interview

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you a new interview to the Metalcore/Alternative Metal band Wishing The Sunset from Italy. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview and also like their  FACEBOOK PAGE cause these band is epic.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?  

The sunset represents the proximity of catharsis, of a new born after the night that bring darkness over the world. It's a kind philosophical but we liked it.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?  

We want to play this genre because we wanted to create something different and melt our differents tastes of music!

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?  

Yes! Me (Federico) and Gabriele (rythm guitar) are brothers! Fabio (drummer) and Erica (singer) are brother and sister! We first met in high school, then we find out that we had almost the same music taste so we decided to form the band!

4. Each band member favourite band?  

Alessio's favourite band is Architects!

Gabriele's ones are Fear Factory, Devin Townsed, Killswitch Engage.
Gioele ones   are Dream Theater, Epica and Periphery.
Federico's favourite bands are Protest The Hero, Soilwork, Fit For A King, Stories, Letlive, God Is An Astronaut. Fabio's ones are Opeth and Fight Star
Erica one's are Florance + The Machine and Emilie Autumn

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

For the music we are not inspiring to anything in particular... we just play what we feel inside, while for the lyrics our drummer love writing so it's easy to him to find the right inspiration.

6. Where was your last gig?  

Our last gig was here in Genova with Weak and Bretayed and High Hopes from Uk ! It was the first time we shared the stage with a band froma another country

7. Where would you like to act?  

We would really like to play outside Italy! Maybe an european tour, and, if everything goes well, maybe an american one.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?  

It would be awesome to share the stage with Devin Townsend, Periphery  or even take part of the CoreMusic Italia Fest!

9. Whom not?  

Well, there is not a band that we hate or something...we just like to play around with new people and have fun! That's how everybody have to do.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?  

Maybe only the first time, then everytime we play we try to be as natural as possible. For the beginners, we can only suggest to be yourself,  humble and have fun.

11. What bands have inspired you the most? 

Devin Townsend Project, Fear Factory, Gianni Serino, Jhon Petrucci, Dave Weckl, Steve digiorgio, Architects.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Last year we played in Genova, and the venue we have played in had no money to give us after we played there! So they told us we could have free drinks for the whole night, so we decided to offer beers and drinks to all our fans out of the venue!

13. What do you think of your fans?  

We really care about our fans! It's good when they give us some advices to improve ourself!

14. What do you think of our site?  

You are doing a good thing! It's beautiful how you find out new underground bands from the whole world and help them to come out!
