Burning The Arsonist - Interview

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Metalcore band Burning The Arsonist from Mexico, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE.  We have nothing more to say, enjoy this excellent interview of this more excellent band. 

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

At first, we heard the word Arsonist, and we liked it. We tried to make a name that revolved around that word, so we came up with Burning The Arsonist. We liked the irony of that situation, and with time we gave it our own meaning.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

We wanted to play this genre because some of our favorite bands play it, but even though they are technically in the same genre, they have different styles. So we are trying to combine all those styles.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

The vocalist and both guitarists went to school together. One of the guitarists (Quiriat) had a few friends that he brought to the band.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Alvaro (bassist): Arctic Monkeys, Quiriat (Guitar): August Burns Red, Roman (Guitar): As I Lay Dying, Jose Luis (Vocals): Circa Survive, Cristian (Drums): Trivium

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Life experiences.

6. Where was your last gig?

A show that was held at Quiriat´s house, with many other local bands.

7. Where would you like to act?

We would like to perform everywhere we can. But we dream of playing in places like Rock am Ring, Sonisphere, Mayhem festival, and others.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

We would like to play with all of our favorite bands.

9. Whom not?

We believe it is good to leave your confort zone sometimes. So there really aren´t any bands we wouldn´t play with.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Yes, some of us have, but it´s normal when you are starting out. Just keep practicing to feel secure by the time you get in front of a crowd, and keep playing shows. With time you will overcome it.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

A lot of local bands have inspired us to make music, along with our favorite bands.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

One crazy guy at one show asked our vocalist if he can suck his dick. He kept insisting to meet him at the bathroom. Sadly, our vocalist turned him down.

13. What do you think of your fans?

We don´t think we are big enough to have “fans” yet, but we appreciate the support of the people that have listened to us.

14. What do you think of our site?

We think it´s cool that people like you have interest in interviewing local bands like us and help them get known.
