Filth In My Garage - Interview

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Post-Hardcore band Filth In My Garage  from Italy, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE.  We have nothing more to say, enjoy this excellent interview of this more excellent band. 

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

The idea came out from our lead guitarist Matteo, the real meaning is quite a mistery.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

We began playing along and taking inspiration from many bands and genres, the mash up of ideas and sensations we felt by melting together all these stuff produced this kind of post-hard-core-metal-screamed-out music… we like it cause it's a direct way to transmit our rage and at the same time a kind of sweet frenetic melancholy easily captioned by the people who see us, specially on live shows.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

We all knew each other in some kind of way… but the real contact came up after playing together.

4. Each band member favourite band?

We all like so much different bands, I think it would be too reductive speak about only one for each.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Our songs come out (as I said before) from a mash up of ideas and sensations, we take inspiration from our condition as human beings, specially for the bad influence we got on this planet, so it's like a description of strong feelings and contradictions of humanity itself, looking sometimes through the eyes of a single man, but there's always a key to understanding readable by anyone of us. At least I think so.

6. Where was your last gig?

Our last gig was in Montpellier, France.

7. Where would you like to act?

Giamaica

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Queens of the Stone Age

9. Whom not?

Eros Ramazzotti.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

I don't remember anyone of us being scared before the show… I think taking shots and smoking special herbs will help anybody to feel more confident with the stage… is an amazing thing, c'mon! don't be afraid and enjoy one of the best things we can do while we're alive!

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

I think personally Poison the Well, Norma jean, Refused, Dillinger Escape Plan, Verse and many many more, can't name them all…

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

We don´t have fans.

We love our fans.
