Fingers Crossed - Interview

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Melodic Hardcore band Fingers Crossed  from Australia, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE.  We have nothing more to say, enjoy this excellent interview of this more excellent band. 

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

We can't exactly remember where it came from, but it just came to us one day.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

We've grown up with a passion for this kind of music so it made sense to play it.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

We all knew each other through high school and through local shows around the area.

4. Each band member favourite band?

There are honestly too many to choose from. Bands like letlive, Periphery, Architects, Misery Signals, Stray From The Path just to name a few.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

We draw inspiration from the bands we listen to and local bands of our friends.

6. Where was your last gig?

Our last gig was in our hometown of Newcastle at a small venue called Hombre Records.

7. Where would you like to act?

All across the world, we would like to see as many places as possible in our time as a band.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

All the bands we've grown up listening to and more. Any band that could take us to a new place or inspire us in a different way.

9. Whom not?

Blood On The Dance Floor, even though our bassist would love it.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Apart from the occasional slip of the mind and forgetting riffs, nothing major. Just try to focus more on yourself and the rest of your band than the people watching you. It's just another rehearsal with a few drunk friends.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

So many, most notably Architects.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

I can't say we have ever had any weird requests of people other than a couple of silly song requests.

13. What do you think of your fans?

All our fans are the reason we do what we do and we owe them so so much.

14. What do you think of our site?

You're bringing together people from all across the globe and introducing them to so many killer bands and giving all those deserving bands that tiny bit more exposure. So thank you, you're doing so much good.
