1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

The band name "footage of a yeti"  was kind of an inside joke between original members of the band. After we had gotten positive feedback and realized the name was catchy , it stuck!

2.Why did you want to play this genre?  

We all love heavy music, super energetic vibes for us and the listeners.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?  

We knew of each other before the band, we each had our small starting bands. It was a small community. But we basically became a family once we constructed the band.

4. Each band member favourite band?  

Mike (vocals) Slipknot Brian (drums) Pantera Jesse (bass) The Dillinger Escape Plan/ Deftones John ( guitar) Meshugga Vinny (guitar) poison the well

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

Life... Pretty sure the way we think and the way we all go about our lives influences us in writing. We're super open minded and lyrically range from egotistical rants  (which everyone feels now and then), to death of an ego and lsd trips. Musically the same. we don't cater to a sound or a person we write what we think sounds awesome as a band.

6. Where was your last gig?  

Supporting act for Bermuda in Trenton NJ

7. Where would you like to act?  

Honestly we all have hopes of playing all over the world. Love to visit Europe , experience the metal and hardcore scenes as far as we can. We hope to continue our journey and not limit ourselves to anything. Maybe you'll see us in space soon!

8. Whom would you like to feature with?  

We would love to play with so many classic , and fundamental bands like Pantera, Metallica , slipknot,  all of our favorites. But in today's hardcore scene we would have to say , All shall perish, oceano, within the ruins, after the burial. All the awesome heavy hitters.

9. Whom not?  

Not many people we wouldn't be open to performing with!

10. What bands have inspired you the most?  

Mainly all the influences we listed as our favorite bands. Our influences are endless , we are proud of each enjoying a wide range of music .

11. What do you think of our site?

The site is awesome anything and anyone still helping out the music scene to stay alive is always special. Thank you so much and hope you guys continue to prosper and expose light on bands that deserve it!
