Lost In Despair - Interview

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you a new interview to the Metalcore  band Lost In Despair from Denmark. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview and also like their FACEBOOK PAGE  cause these band is epic.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?  

We spend quite some time finding a name which we thought suited our music and our genre. Lost In Despair came out all of a sudden and we all agreed that it was the right name for our band.   

2.Why did you want to play this genre?  

What makes metalcore the ideal genre for us is, that it combines all the elements of metal which we love; great melodies, heavy breakdowns and a very raw and energy-packed vocal.   

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?  

Tore, Mads and Klaus knew each other before the band was formed. Peter, who also played in another band with Tore (Wecanwalkonwatertoo), joined the band about a year after. And then later Jakob, our bassplayer, joined.   

4. Each band member favourite band?  

Mads: Architects 
Tore: Heart In Hand 
Klaus: Whitechapel 
Peter: Salt The Wound 
Jakob: Architects  

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

We’re inspired by bands such as Architects, While She Sleeps, Heart In Hand, Parkway Drive August Burns Red, The Ghost Inside etc.  Support from the people around us is also a great motivation for writing.   

6. Where was your last gig?  

Ungdommens Hus in Fredericia, Denmark. Awesome place! We played with some cool bands called Fallen Horizon and EVRA. Make sure to check them out.   

7. Where would you like to act?  

We would really like to hit the international metal-stage in the future. That is the dream!   

8. Whom would you like to feature with?  

Sam Carter from Architects, Adrian Fitipaldes from Northlane or Winston McCall from Parkway Drive would be awesome!    

9. Whom not?  

None specific.   

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?  

We all had some in the beginning, but it disappeared with time. Maybe it will come again if we play at bigger venues, who knows? The best tip we can give is that you know your shit. Practice, practice, practice. And then experience of cause.   

11. What bands have inspired you the most? 

Architects, While She Sleeps, Heart In Hand, Parkway Drive, August Burns Red, The Ghost Inside, For The Fallen Dreams etc.  12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?  Can't think of anything right now. We've probably been drunk while that happened.   

13. What do you think of your fans?  

They’re just great! Very nice and supportive. It wouldn't be worth playing shows without them.   

14. What do you think of our site?  

What you're doing is great. Very nice promotion of the underground scene and its bands. Keep it up!

We’re soon recording a brand new EP, which will probably be released this summer. Make sure to check it out!
