Nameless - Interview
Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you a new interview to the Metalcore band Nameless from Italy. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview and also like their FACEBOOK PAGE.
1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?
The word "Nameless" tries to suggest the idea of a lack of identity. We think that this feeling could be recognized and shared by lot of people, beyond the different personalities, because it focuses on something intimate and unconscious, hard to admit but often true!
2.Where did you get the idea for the CD/EP name?
Main theme of the EP is the harmonic coexistance of opposites, something like inevitability of pain. All the lyrics, in their own way, could be read with this meaning and that's way we've chosen the image of the oxymoron for the title.
3.Why did you want to play this genre?
Because it's a kind of music that we always like and it offers the opportunity of experiment with different paths.
4. Did you know each other before the band was formed?
No, we didn't. I have been asked to join the band from Francesco, who also asked Gianluca to join the band, and we meet the first time we played together.
5. Each band member favourite band?
Alex: In Flames, Breakdown Of Sanity.
Francesco: Faith No More, Incubus, Litfiba, Dream Theater.
Gianluca: Slipknot, In Flames, Lamb Of God, Death, Amon Amarth, Deftones.
Ivan: Opeth and Alter Bridge.
Valerio: Lamb Of God, In Flames, Meshuggah, Slayer.
6. Who or what inspires you to write songs?
Personal experiences and reflections of various kinds.
7. Where was your last gig?
We played at "l'altro café", a pub in our town.
8. Where would you like to act?
Madison Square Garden could be a nice choice.
9. Whom would you like to feature with?
Fabri Fibra, for the strenght of his lyrics.
10. Whom not?
Club Dogo.
11. What bands have inspired you the most?
We are a band in which each member listen differet kinds of music, so our influences vary from In Flames, Lamb Of God, Slipknot, to Alter Bridge, Faith No More and Incubus.
12. What do you think of our site?
It's a good platform that tries to give space to underground realities.
