NEVERALONE - Interview

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you a new interview to the Punk Rock  band NEVERALONE from Italy. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview and also like their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?  

The band name came out one day, we were looking for a new name, so we started searching online for inspiration. We came across a photo of a boy alone in a park, he had his shadow behind him and the photo was called "Never Alone". That sounded good plus we thought "we're friends and we're always together haha" so we decided to use it as the band name but in one word :)  

2.Where did you get the idea for the CD/EP name?  

The idea for the name "Same Old Shit" came quite simply. It has multiple meanings, first the idea that we as musicians are still playing punk rock after so many years (which sorta is the same old shit haha) then we thought about relationships, which is also one of the main themes in the record. Every relationship is the same in a way: it starts in an amazing way, then there is a second phase which is stationary, then it all ends just like that. Every relationship kinda is the "same old shit".  

3.Why did you want to play this genre?  

Alan: I actually don't know haha i guess it was the "simplicity", the fact that you don't have to be a super technical musician to play it, the fast and loud parts, all these things plus the fact that in the 90's it was super cool and made me want to play punk rock.  

4. Did you know each other before the band was formed?  

Me (Alan) and my brother Chris of course knew each other haha we've been playing toce we were like 11 :) we met Francesco and Luca in 2009 at a party, they had other bands at the time. We all became very good friends and finally decided to play together :)  

5. Each band member favourite band?  

Alan: story of the year  

6. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

Personallly, everything. I get inspiration from people, situations, feelings, everything that makes me feel in the mood to write a song then becomes the song.  

7. Where was your last gig?  

Our last gig was in Modena for our album release! It's been a blast, all our friends were there and a lot of people we didn't know. We had a lot of fun :)  

8. Where would you like to act?  

The USA is for sure the place we'd love to play the most, we played in St Louis, missouri in 2010. It was one of our best show ever! The people there is amazing :)  

9. Whom would you like to feature with?  

Well that depends, id personally love to play with my favourite band story ofthe year, just cause I've met them a few times and they're also amazing and fun guys to be around with :)  

10. Whom not?  

Haha i don't have any band i wouldn't like to play with, i like to know new people and is always fun to hang out with most of the bands we play with.  

11. What bands have inspired you the most?  

Personally, blink 182, new found glory, story of the year, and many others across the 90's  

12. What do you think of our site?  

I love it! It's always nice to keep track of new bands and artists :)
