The Butcher´s Rodeo - Interview

Hey Breathing The Core fans! Here we bring you another interview. In this case to the Hardcore band The Butcher´s Rodeo from France. they are epic so nothing more to say than enjoy the interview and like their FACEBOOK PAGE!

1.Where you did you get the idea for the band name, was taken from the sleeve or was an idea? 

A friend of our singer came up with the band name, he just told us " why not The Butcher's Rodeo? " and we just loved the name right away !

2.Why do you wanted to play Deathcore? 

Well, actually I don't know if " Deathcore " is the right term to define our sound, we actually don't know how to define what we play, we just call it "Hobocore ". We just wanted to play some violent and melodic music at the same time and that’s what emerged from that idea, just to make some noise and destroy the stage wherever we play.

3.Already you know each other before forming the band? 

Actually, the whole idea of the band originated from Vince ( singer ) and me ( Thom : Drummer ), we wanted to make something violent. Vince told me that he knew a guy ( Tonio : Lead Guitar ) who would fit perfectly for the band, so we gathered everyone at Vince place's and talked about music while drinking beer and the band was created. Vince's brother introduced us to Kwet ( Rhythm Guitar ) and Tonio introduced Guigz ( former bassist ) and one rehearsal later we were writing our first EP " Like a Hobo on a Bison ". Guigz decided to leave the band after 2 years so we had to find another bassist and after several auditions we found Ben who’s been playing with us for 4 month now.

4.What is the favorite band of each?

Like every band we've got some different " Favorite bands " so to name a few; ETID, Tool, The Bled, Architects, Poison The Well, Underoath, The Vandals, The Chariot and more.

5.What are your music inspired?

Our music is mostly inspired by our lives. Every song is inspired by a moment in our lives and this is what it sounds like.

6.Where do you have given your last concert? 

At the moment our last concert was in Paris with Violet, A Lot Like Birds and Bufford Tannen. Tomorrow ( 8 March ) we're going to Sittard ( Holland ) to play with our bro from Wyatt Earp for a fucking epic show and on March 14th we're playing a last show in Paris after this one we're going to finish this damn 2nd Ep " Ghosts in the weirdest Places ", and going to tour as much as possible by September.

7.Where would you like to act?

Everywhere but if we've got to choose I'd say, Portugal, Spain, Italy, UK, Germany, Scotland and more… Like I said EVERYWHERE

8.With whom would you do one feat?

There's so much feats we would like to do, Norma Jean, Stray From The Path, ETID and the list is long

9.With whom would not?

Don't think about that

10.What band are you most inspired?

There're a lot of bands who inspire us like Norma Jean, Stray from the Path, ETID, Architects, The Chariot, Dead And Divine ….
