Broken Teeth - Interview

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Hardcore band Broken Teeth! from UK, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE.  We have nothing more to say, enjoy this excellent interview of this more excellent band. 

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name; you planned it or came out just like that?

As far as I was aware Dale had just randomly came up it when we were getting guys together to do the band.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?  

We play this genre because its what we are all into and something we all put a lot of interest into.

3.Did you know each other before the band was formed?  

Yes, myself (Adam) and vocalist Dale have known each other from an early age of school. We met all the other guys from going to hardcore shows.

4. Each band member favourite band?  

I'm not with anyone right now so I couldn't honestly answer on their behalf. However a few bands that I am listening a lot of at the moment consist of; King Nine, Merauder, Take Offense and Turnstile on my morning commutes to work. I also just got tickets for the Eminem and supposed Dre/snoop concert so for me thats going to be cool!

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

For me it's definitely about the hard riffs and groovy beats that makes you want to pound in the pit! So seeing other hardcore bands with the hardest riffs inspires me to match their efforts.

6. Where was your last gig?  

Our last show must have been the last date of our recent tour with Terror, Deez Nuts and Nasty. We did all of europe and it was insane!

7. Where would you like to act?

There are alot of places where we have never played! so hitting up those places would be cool. Places like Australia, Malyasia and the U.S .

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

With Hardcore you really get to play with who ever you want in terms of bands that are within hardcore. so if I was to say out of hardcore I would probably choose Anthrax back in the day or maybe Metallica?

9.Whorn not?

I never want to play with these upcoming bands who come from a totally different scene and try to cash in on hardcore, instead of working hard they pay agents to do stuff for them and get onto tours and festivals before they have even had a band practice. But we have played with bands like this which is beyond my control!

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?  

On our first ever shows I was the worst because I was never a musician and never intended on it to happen! my mind would go blank mid way through a song and we would have to stop! Probably the most embarrassing things to ever happen in a room full of people! It also pisses the rest of the band off! To get around it I would suggest to play a lot together before you book a show and when you do try to forget how many people are watching you! Do it as if you are still in your practise room or basement.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?  

 So many bands, there is no time for me to reel off the list!

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Photo's are always weird and I had to give away a drum stick a few times - thats always strange! its a piece of wood!

13. What do you think of your fans?

I wouldn't say we have fans, Most people that listen to us have the same mentality as us! we are all hardcore kids that go to shows and hang out with friends. But for those who see us more than that its cool! I advise them to start a band.
