Curses - Interview

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Metalcore/Post-Hardcore band Curses from USA, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE.  We have nothing more to say, enjoy this excellent interview of this more excellent band. 

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

We got the idea for the band name from a programming graphics library our guitarist used in school called "PD Curses".

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

We like both clean and unclean vocals and we really enjoy the energy that comes with the live shows in this genre.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

No, none of us knew one another before the band.

4. Each band member favourite band?

We all have changing tastes and we like a lot of different music, so it's hard to pick a favorite. Haha

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Everyday life. Our friends, people around us. Everything inspires us and shapes us in some way.

6. Where was your last gig?

Charleston, WV.

7. Where would you like to act?  

We're willing to play anywhere. We love to travel.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

We think it'd be pretty cool to work with Secrets, Emarosa, or Fit For A King. We always love working with Ice Nine Kills.

9. Whom not?

We're open to work with anyone.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

In the beginning, yeah. But we've played hundreds of shows at this point, so we just get stoked now.  Tip: Don't be afraid. More than likely, the people in front of you in the crowd aren't going to boo you. That pretty much never happens. Don't sweat it. Get out there, get stoked, and kill it.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

The Plot In You, Emarosa, Slipknot, Of Mice & Men, and old Woe Is Me.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

We've been asked a lot of strange stuff. One thing that comes to mind is when fans ask for our phone numbers or addresses. Haha

13. What do you think of your fans?

We love them. Without them, we wouldn't be able to do this. We'd do anything for them.

14. What do you think of our site?

Pretty sweet. We're glad you interviewed us!
