Enemist - Interview

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Metalcore band Enemist from Czech Republic, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE.  We have nothing more to say, enjoy this excellent interview of this more excellent band. 

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

We take a lot of time for name ´cause we wanted something special and then our drummer came with Enemist. It’s shortcut of Enemy in the mist. The idea of this, is that everybody can imagine what is frightening for themselfes, just because it´s something unknown. It can be understand as future cause we don´t know what´s waiting for us. We don´t know how long humanity can survives as civilization.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

We´re playing what we like, we don’t care about genre. We just love music!

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Yeah most of us... Everybody had different projects or the bands before and sometimes, some of us had playing at the same venues.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Fucking hard to choose one:D so each member chosed three bands:) For me in this time is Whitechapel, All shall perish and I Declare war cause of vocal and sound. Drummer´s favourite bands are Impending doom, Mnemic and Epidemic Scorn. For bassguitarist it´s The Black Dahlia Murder, Die antword and Motörhead. Second gutarist like As i Lay Dying , Viatrophy, Recode the Subliminal and our solo guitarist Johnny Cash, Pantera and Whitechapel

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

There is a lot of inspiration for us, but on first place are emotions and our feeling. These two things we need in music most and then if we feel it, we know we are on a good way. Third thing is society, our lyrics are full of resistence, rage, hate and criticism for world around us. Maybe it´s utopia in this time but we trying to say something to poeple with our music. Something about honor, which slowly disappearing or about humanity, how we destroying our planet, lifes and people around us step by step. Most of them don´t give a shit about it and just swiming through the life without no respect for anything. We are all slaves of money and this system. The last thing what inspire us is fucking Rock´n´roll!!!

6. Where was your last gig?

Our last gig was in our basetown Litoměřice.

7. Where would you like to act?  

It´s hard to say we would like to show our music all around the world!

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Definitely with Whitechapel ! It would be awesome!

9.Whorn not?

It´s hard to say but probably Justin Bieber:D and other same shit.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Yeah when i was started as singer, was hard for me at beginning, now, after some time, it´s better cause I already beat it. But still sometimes, stage-fright is trying to catch me. Important is try to don´t let it know, that you’re shy or something like that. As my friend, the lead singer, from band Anime Torment said "Enjoy every moment on stage". I don´t know if i can give some advice cause I am basicly still beginner but I hope, this sentece will help somebody, as helped me. Sometimes our drummer suffered with stage-fright, when he must drive after show.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

It´s hard to chose one cause we all have a lot of bands what inspired us. But in last time It´s Anime Torment, our friends we were on tour with. They are beasts on stage and great people:)

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

I don´t know if it is wierd or just sad but one of visiters on tour show asked me, why we doing this? When we don’t earn any money from the show afterall.

13. What do you think of your fans?

Our fans are all for us! They are very important for our existence and without them it doesn´t make any sense! After all, we enjoy every beer with anyone, who just come and listen what we´re composing.
