Hey Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Modern Metalcore band  In Believer from Malaysia, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, enjoy this excellent interview of this more excellent.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

Actually the name came from the original members/founders of the band Apek, Alep and Fixx (who all left the band due to personal and career priorities). I heard from Khalid (our guitarist) that they wanted the name of the band to be a bit spiritual so they came up with “In Believer” and the name stuck till this day since we think that it’s cool to be uncool. People always relate us to Beliebers(justin bieber fans) but we aint got no quarrel with that. If it helps to stamp our band name on their minds and their thoughts then we’re totally cool with it.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

It says on our band page that we are a metalcore band but to be honest even we ourselves can’t pigeonhole the music we are playing in one particular genre. We just wanna play heavy and catchy music. Why? Because the energy and motivation it gives us and also to the fans of heavy music. I can’t imagine myself working out ( if i ever were to work out) listening to Diego el Cigala weeping in misery on Lagrimas Negras.(...which i do listen to when i’m feeling mellow)

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Khalid (our guitarist) know the original line up but Syahir(bassist), Ikram(drums) and I don’t. At least that’s what I think.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Ok let’s see... Frankly speaking it’s hard for me to answer this question since I have no particular favourite band..but if I were to chose a couple of bands defines my songwriting or playing I think i’d pick, Within The Ruins, Arch Enemy and Shokran. Here are the favourite bands of the rest of my band .

Khalid (guitars) –Shokran, Born Of Osiris

Ikram(drums)  The Faceless, Whitechapel

Syahir(bass)  Like Moths To Flames,As I Lay Dying, ABRB

Cain(vocals) Crossfaith, In Dying Arms

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Mostly personal experiences, emotional stimulations. .... and also the feeling to just sit down and rip  shitloads of heavy and catchy  riffs on the guitar fucking all day long \m/ ..,,

6. Where was your last gig?

About three weeks ago if I’m not mistaken

7. Where would you like to act?

I don’t know. anywhere overseas, so that we can meet new friends like you guys!

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Ok this is a tough one, haven’t really had a serious thought about this before.

9. Whom not?

I can’t think of a name haha

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

We suffer stage fright when we don’t have much time to practice before a show but we still consider ourselves as beginners so we’re not in the position to give advice on that

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Ahahh I think my answer for question 4  answers this question

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

We don’t have much fans to begin with so this question would have to wait, let’s check again a couple of months after we release our debut album.

13. What do you think of your fans?

We Love em!!

14. What do you think of our site?

I think it’s a fucking great effort. Hats off to you mi amigo.. We really appreciate those who hustle their asses off to keep heavy music alive and breathing. People like you! WE SALUTE YOU!

15. Something to add?

Yeah! Our debut album  will be out in a couple of months time. Hope we can find a  way to get our stuff released in other countries. For enquiries please contact us via our facebook http://www.facebook.com/inbelieverband Thank you!
