Lost Creation - Interview

Hey Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Deathcore/Hardcore/Djent band Lost Creation from Montreal (Canada), so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, enjoy this excellent interview of this more excellent band.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

At first, our band was called Creation, but we learned few weeks after our formation that a new band called Creations just got signed on Mediaskare, so we ironically called ourselves Lost Creation. We are so deep, we cant see!

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

We are trying to mix deathcore, hardcore and a subtle influence of djent. We wanted to try somthing new because we did'nt really knew a band like this and each time we create a new song we are getting closer to a unique and balanced blend.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed? 

Only two of us really knew "personnaly" each others. Simon and I  played in the same band back in the days.

4. Each band member favourite band?  

Alex C: Stray From The Path

Simon: Suicide Silence

Alex V: The Devils Wears Prada

Charles-Olivier: Ghost

Jey: I The Breather

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

Most of all, I found my inspiration in horror/sci-fi novels and movies such as the Aliens movies, Prometheus and The Matrix. I dont really find inspiration in the movie itself, but rather in the concept.

6. Where was your last gig?  

Shit, that's a funny one, it was yesterday. We were supposed to do our FIRST show with WBTBWB, Incredible Me, and another local band called Skies Across, but two days before the show, we learned that WBTBWB did'nt received their visas at time. At first, Incredible Me said that they were still down to do the show, and they choked 24 hours before. The show got canceled. We did'nt back down and we offered a free show to our fans and a complete refund to the ones who already bought tickets from us. Despite all that bad luck, the show was epic!

7. Where would you like to act?  

It might seems weird but we would like to do a show at Saigon, Viet Nam. One day, a guy from Viet  Nam talked to us via Facebook saying he really like our band and he would like to do a show with us in the future. It made our day. It's amazing how internet can bring your music all around the world!

8. Whom would you like to feature with?  

Celine Dion. All the way! \m/

9. Whom not?  

I dont think we would NOT do a show just because we dont appreciate a band, unless they are really disrespectfull. Still, if we really had to pick a band, I would spit on any bands who think they are bigger then what they are and acts like real douches. Fuck the "rockstar" attitude.

10. What bands have inspired you the most?  

Most of all After The  Burial and Stray From The Path.

11. What do you think of our site?

It's a great way to promote the hardcore scene and the unsigned bands! Not all the unsigned bands got a chance to have an interview and some good promotion!
