The Morning Is For Sleeping - Interview

Hey Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Post-Hardcore band The Morning Is For Sleeping from Italy, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, enjoy this excellent interview of this more excellent band.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?  

Well, all the band we like have such long names like Bring Me The Horizion, Of Mice & Man, Being As An Ocean, A Day To Remember, We Came As Romans etc. We have never took it seriously, so we wanted to joke about our name. We wanted to have a long name too, but we started thinking about it in a different way. What we usually do? We sleep in the morning

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

We like it.Nothing more. When we started to play in this band we had no idea about the music we were going to do. After some songs we understand that people call it “post-hardcore”.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?  

Well, Latina is a small town, we all knew each other, but we never thought we could play together with this line up.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Jacopo loves every band he listens to the same way, like Rise Against, Funeral For A Friend etc. Marco Bergo loves The Color Morale and Slipknot, Ilian loves No Use For a Name, Alessio loves Nirvana, Marco Pesino is not here now. He's on a Skype call. We think he loves his job more than music. If he could, he would play Slayer every moment.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Ilian usually write songs when he's on the toilette. Alessio the same. Everyone the same. I think the toilette inspires us more than all bands.

6. Where was your last gig?  

St. Petersburg, Russia, the 6th of March. After that, we had to record the new single and the video, so we decided to stop live gigs for a while.

7. Where would you like to act?  

We don't care. We like to play. Small clubs or big festivals. We always loves our live show and our audience

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

We never thought about a feature. We're playing our song, alone, cause we know that we have to work without the help of anyone. But, if we can say some name, it would be a dream to have featuring with Garret Rapp or Austin Carlile.

9. Whom not?

Pitbull. We don't want Pitbull. Everyone feats with him. Ahahaha

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright?Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?  

Yeah. We always have stage fright. And for those who could have it: until you have that fright, it means you already feel something, you still believe in your music. Playing without fright it's like “music is my job, I have to do it”.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?  

Lots of bands. We could fill pages about them. From punk to metal, passing by grunge, pop, and tarantella.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

To play another song when we had nothing ready to be played. He was crazy. No?

13. What do you think of your fans?

We don't have fans. We have friends.

14. What do you think of our site?

Well, best sites host the greatest bands, right? We are glad to be in your space! We always like who is doing right things for bands.
