World & Dreams - Interview

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Melodic Hardcore  band World & Dreams  from Germany, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE.  We have nothing more to say, enjoy this excellent interview of this more excellent band. 

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

We thought about our name for a long time but when we finished our first songs, we realised that we have many influences by bands like Misery Signals. So we took one of our final songs as our bandname„Worlds and Dreams“

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

We want to use our music to deliver a message and with what genre we do that better than with melodic hardcore?

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

No.

4. Each band member favourite band?

So, we're musicans and we're all in diffrent styles of music. I think our favourite bands frequently change because we love everything that inspires us.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Our Lifes! We write songs about our lifes, our friendships, our mistakes.

6. Where was your last gig?

We played our last show about three weeks ago, because three of us have their exams this time. We played the show with our friends in ATOA and Daily Regression.

7. Where would you like to act?

Everywhere. We want to tour around the whole world with our friends and our idols.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Angus Young, James Hetfield, Slash. No seriously that would be awesome.

9. Whom not?

Come on thats a hard question dude. Maybe not with Britney Spears?!

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Of course! We're very frightened every time before we go on stage. But when we start doing what we love, there is no stage fright anymore just music and passion.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Bands like Misery Signals, Heart in Hand, Landscapes, Being As An Ocean, The cold Harbour, Napoleon, Counterparts, Our Final Hour, Defeater, Choking on Ilusions, Devil Sold His Soul and our good friends Elephantis, btw. those guys are the nicest bunch of dudes on this planet.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Oh, a long time ago there was a guy asking us „What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?“ I think that was kinda weird. Seriously we were never asked for something that is really weird.

13. What do you think of your fans?

Without our fans we are nothing. Everyone who likes our music means the world to us, because withour your support we wouldn't be able to tour all over germany or to print shirts and stuff.

14. What do you think of our site?

We really love what you guys do. It's important that sites like yours promote young and fresh bands this way.

15. Something to add?

Just big thanks to you guys and big thanks to every band we shared the stage with the last two years.
