I, Revival - Interview

Hey Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Metalcore band  I,Revival from Malaysia, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, enjoy this excellent interview of this more excellent.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?  

Firstly we'd like to thank Breathing The Core for interviewing us! Appreciate the love! So we we're all individually in different bands for awhile and we already knew each other so we thought why not start a band on our own and get a little serious with it, see how it goes. Pretty surprised haha!

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

Individually, i think we have our reasons, collectively i think we just agree that It's a fucking awesome genre.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?    

As mentioned earlier, we did know each other for some time before. In fact, we were in our own bands that played the same shows each weekend having probably the same crowd and same set of friends. Probably a healthy competition too!

4. Each band member favourite band?  

Danial( Northlane ), Johan( Parkway Drive, Periphery ), Adam( PTV ), Justin(The Amity Affliction) and we're going to go ahead and just name Prepared Like A Bride for Aiman since he isn't around (He's on tour with Villes in Australia).

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

There are so many bands that inspire us to write music. Honestly, it's hard to name one specifically but the experience that comes with traveling as a band is definitely whats fuelling us.

6. Where was your last gig?    

Most recently was in a club called Lust in our city of Kuala Lumpur, before that we opened for Asking Alexandria when they were down.

7. Where would you like to act?   

Australia definitely one of the places! Anywhere is good honestly.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?    

Oh this is tough, But August Burns Red is a must.

9. Whom not?    

Can't think of any.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?    

Everytime for Johan atleast, otherwise it really depends haha. Just do your best no matter what, if you've put in the hours trying to perfect every mistake you should do fine haha!, don't take our word for it.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?    

Parkway Drive and August Burns Red were huge inspirations worth naming for sure.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?    

Can't think of any abnormal stuff a fan has asked for, but does my backstage pass count?

13. What do you think of your fans? 

In all honesty, they're great! Some come from pretty far out places and we really do appreciate that part. A pretty funny bunch too, especially when it comes to interacting with them. We love you guys because you're funny as shit sometimes and the constant support from day 1.

14. What do you think of our site?  

It's a great way to get to know so many bands as it is, Big thumbs up the Co Founder and his love for music! So much appreciation for his work. Keep it up.
