Me Vs Hero - Interview
Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Pop Punk/Hardcore band Me Vs Hero from UK, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, enjoy this excellent interview of this more excellent.
1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?
Our original guitarist Alex Mcculloch misheard lyrics on a Walls of Jericho song
2.Why did you want to play this genre?
I wanted to go for a pop punk band that wasn't so whinny and wimpy, but had more balls like the metal bands i was into. more damn masculine
3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?
Mike and I (sam) went to high school together, thats about it. bobby, grant and si were found through friends when we needed new members.
4. Each band member favourite band?
We all like many many bands, too many to mention
5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?
Its a great feeling of accomplishment when you write your own song, you get to put your own twist on a sound
6. Where was your last gig?
In a tiny german anti nazi town. possibly one of the weirdest gigs i've ever done.
7. Where would you like to act?
We want to go all over the world, see it and play music in it
8. Whom would you like to feature with?
Queen …. but its a bit late isn't it
9. Whom not?
I can't answer that one
10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?
Every time i play a gig i get nervous, never full on stage fright but i always get shaky and anxious. nerves are good, lets you know you're alive doing exciting things, my advice is to let it ride
11. What bands have inspired you the most?
I could reel off a list, but it will just be the same as every other guy in a pop punk band. you already know the obvious
12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?
We randomly met a fan whilst walking round tokyo. he asked if he could be our tour guide for the day.
13. What do you think of your fans?
Anyone who takes the time to actually listen to our stuff, enjoy it and share it, these people are priceless to me
14. What do you think of our site?
Honestly, its my first encounter with it, but you guys are doing some great stuff. good job
15. Something to add?
Hells yeah, we head out round the UK mid September in support of our new album 'I'm Completely Fine' which you can pre order right now from http://bandcamp.com/mevshero . connect with us on Facebook, twitter, youtube or whatever you want. peace sam
