Sloane Square - Interview

Hey Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Post-Hardcore band  Sloane Square from Germany, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, enjoy this excellent interview of this more excellent.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?  

It came out just like that when we talked about possible band names.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?  

We have grown up in this music but we also love other styles, too. A good mixture is very important. Everyone played in former bands and this is what came out, when we met. We love the energy that we can deliver to our audience. People like to depressurize their strain and this kind of music seems to be a good way.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?  

Kim and Sam (the founders), Sergej and Jordan were friends before. Dave was the winner of our guitarist casting and Luke was recommended by a friend of the singer.

4. Each band member favourite band?  

Sam – Kollegah

Sergej – Katy Perry

Kim – Stone Sour

Luke – Linkin Park

Dave – Joe Satriani

Jordan – Dir En Grey

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

Simply good and bad moments in life. Capturing the moment with our songs is a beautiful thing.  We try to write multifarious songs which are border-crossing with contentful lyrics.

6. Where was your last gig?  

Last time we played in Karlruhe in Germany. It was a benefit-festival for children which are suffering from cancer.  This gig was pretty important for us, because nearly everyone knows how vicious this disease is.

7. Where would you like to act?  

US .

8.Whom would you like to feature with?  

Chester Bennington of Linkin Park, because his vocals are sick and we all loved his band from the beginning. Sharing the stage with them is also a big dream for us.

9. Whom not?  

We are not aversed from anything..

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?  

Yes. Before almost every show... Sometimes more and sometimes less. It always depends on the preparation for the gig. Be well prepared. Sounds dumb but it's the only way to counter stage fright effectively. And forget alcohol and drugs, nobody wants to see addicts on stage.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?  

In fact this question is really hard to answer, because every single song you hear influences you in a specific way. Honest music does not know any boundaries.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?  

Can I dance for you guys? (male fan)

13. What do you think of your fans?  

We hate our fans, they are so dumb… no not really! We love our fans. They give us good support and we should say “thank you!” at this point!!!

14. What do you think of our site?  

When we first discovered your site, we just read some interviews from those huge bands which are known in the whole world. At this time we have not thought about being in this concept! We love how you guys support unknown bands as well.
