Subliminal Chaos - Interview

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

It was just the idea of Sergio, our guitar player, looking for a name that defines our music.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?      

We come as musicians from other projects with different kind of styles and we diserved to to join looking for a extreme style quite different from what you can find in our city.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?      

Yes. All of us are friends for many years. Some of us because of the university, other from the streets and old bands.

4. Each band member favourite band?    

Almero (vocals) – King Crimson, Pink Floyd, Tool

Sergio Carmona (Guitars) – Emperor, Mayhem, Negator

Juanma (Guitars) – Hardcore music, Atlantis, Maybeshewill

Jesús Torronteras (Drums) – Death, King Diamond

Frank Serrano (Bass) – Gorguts, Tombs

5.Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

Life. Life is chaos.

6. Where was your last gig?      

Our last performance was in Madrid during the farewell concert of our brothers of Garüda. It was quite an amazing night.

7. Where would you like to act?      

Lope de Vega or Maestranza Theaters, and of course any underground place where you can play on the ground feeling close to your people.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?      

King Diamond, Black Sabbath, King Crimson.

9. Whom not?      

I like music. I would like play with any profesional.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?      

If you fell and love what you do, there is no fear that can beat you.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?      

Death, Botch, Converge, Crippled Black Phoenix,.. For us trve bands that makes trve musick

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?      

The meaning of our lyrics!!!

13. What do you think of your fans?      

Most of our fans are people with no musical prejuices who coming from different styles, discover somithing different with our music.

14. What do you think of our site?      

It is the way to get to the people that, despite of its youth, is highlighted because of its proffesionality. I believe that one of the most relevant point of  your web is that it supports underground music with class & style.
