Wish For Wings - Interview

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Hardcore/Metal band  Wish For Wings from Australia, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, enjoy this excellent interview of this more excellent.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?  

Our old bass player came up with it. Not sure what if he had planned anything but he said the name and we all liked it so it stuck.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

We grew up listening to heavy music like Pantera so just wanted to play something heavy with groove like them I suppose.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?  

Yeah we all knew each other before we started the band.  We used to live in the same town and would hang out all the time so we kind of just kind of started writing some songs.

4. Each band member favourite band?  

Pantera, Manson, White Zombie, Misfits, Rancid

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

Friends and family really.  Try to write songs that might help friends with certain issues or problems they way be dealing with.

6. Where was your last gig?

Our last gig was a local hometown show at a venue called The Brightside.

7. Where would you like to act?

Download Festival would be nice. Hahaha maybe one day.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?  

Guns and Roses for sure.

9. Whom not?  

Bieber

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?  

Not really.  If you believe in what you're doing and it comes from a good place then all you can do is practice hard and just back yourself to get it right on the night.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?  

Heaps. But i guess in the early days it was Throwdown

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?  

Had someone ask for a piece of my hair once. Thought that was a bit out there. Maybe they were making a voodoo doll or something. Haha i guess ill find out.

Love them.
