Burden Is Burning - Interview

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?  

The name of the band came out just like that, we wanted to make words joke with "BiB" and it came as burden is burning, the bad thing is that just after we started publishing we got the mistake! There a book written by an English author "Kipling" called "the white man burden" that talks about stuffs pro racism, what we want to say is: we are not RACISTS, our lyrics don't speak about racism please think that in another way.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?  

We wanted to play this kind of music 'cause all of us listened this, we wanted to create a band with musician that could bring something new to this genre.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?  

Yes, we were friends, we played and worked with other bands together

4. Each band member favourite band?  

Our favourite bands are Of Mice & Men, Memphis May Fire, Whitechapel, The Word Alive.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

It depends about each song, sometimes we start with a electronic project, sometimes with a guitar riff, sometimes with a voice part.

6. Where was your last gig?  

We played in Milan 2 months ago with Being As An Ocean, than we took a break for holidays and now we're practicing a lot for our European Tour in September.

7. Where would you like to act?  

We're planning our work to create a situations that could give us a chance to bring our music in U.S..

8. Whom would you like to feature with?  

We'd like to perform with Lights

9. Whom not?  

Probably with Oli Sykes and every other fake singer in this scene.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

We don't suffer it 'cause it joins our lives from the beginning. If you're a musician, that must to be part of your life style.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?  

J.S. Bach, Joe Satriani, Harry Potter, The Lord Of The Rings and the Hangover Movie.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?  

A pair of underwear.

13. What do you think of your fans?  

We think they make us live!
