Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Progressive Metal/Djent/Hardcore band Elohims from Chile, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!
1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?
Its for the conspirative and esoteric approach we want to give to the lyrics.
2. Why did you want to play this genre?
Cause its technical, original and strong. It is attractive to play and listen.
3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?
Yes, from the same town and from differents bands in the past.
4. Each band member’s favorite band?
Patricio/guitar: Meshuggah
Jorge/vocals: The faceless
Rodrigo/Drums: Thy art is murder
5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?
Differents ideas from good music put together and adapted from our own musical preferences.
6. Where was your last gig?
Never played in a show
7. Where would you like to act?
In the metal festivals around the world.
8. Whom would you like to feature with?
It will be great to play with bands like meshuggah, veil of maya, structures and something like that.
9. Whom not?
Sleeping with sirens, pierce the veil haha.
10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?
No one has never experienced that, and a tip can be a lot of rehearsal and be sure with yourself and with your band.
11. What bands have inspired you the most?
Actually there are a lot of influences, but if we have to name something will be meshuggah and veil of maya.
12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?
There ain't weird things, we haven't played in a show yet, we hope to do it soon, so the fans can ask for some weird stuff hahaha.
13. What do you think of your fans?
We are very thankful to the people who like our music, the people's response has been great. they are awesome.
14. What do you think of our site?
Honestly we didn't know about the site before, and when we checked we found a lot of music. Its a great iniciative to get the music close to the people.
