If Hope Dies - Interview

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Djent/Progressive Metal band If Hope Dies from India, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

Umm it was nothing planned or anything like that!!! we knew we had to come up with a good name so all i did was keep on flowing ideas and names in my notebook :) and bang! this name happened and we all were like its supercool :D

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

Its because we love playing it, and we have no restrictions at all we listen (from blues to brutal death metal) haha!

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Well abinash and I has been a childhood friend and grew up listenning all kind of music together :) and we always had this dream to play infront of people,so we thought why not form a band and see where it goes :) at first it was pretty hectic to find a proper member even after we found members there were  early line up changes... we had to deal with that shit all the time but now its pretty complete and never felt this strong before with this line up - Aakash-Vocals... Abinash-Guitars... Pratik-Bass... Sasank-Drums

4. Each band member favourite band? 

Well they are not with me right now (because iam at office :D)... but its pretty same we all kinda have the same playlist :D because we keep sharing new music among us haha. bands that we dig -- Slipknot/Ion Dissonance/Meshuggah/Undying Inc (and trust me there are lot more) :D

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

Life/things that happening around us!

6. Where was your last gig?

THE MOSH CULTURE Kohima,Nagaland,INDIA

7. Where would you like to act? 

Anywhere everywhere if the chance is given :)

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

The above bands that we dig ;D

9. Whom not?  

Ummm we would love to play with each and every band :D

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?  

Haha yes!!!! when we were in early stage we had that alot:) but trust me time heals everything so nothing to be worried about, just practice hard and nail it! \../,

11. What bands have inspired you the most?  

Slipknot/Ion Dissonance/Meshuggah/Undying Inc/Joint Family

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for? 

Umm i cant remember any of those :D

13. What do you think of your fans?  

We have few but they are genuine one,,, they are the best!!!
