Lifestream - Interview

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Melodic Hardcore band Lifestream from Italy, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, enjoy this excellent interview of this more excellent.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

We didn't planned our band's name, it just came out once our recording was finished, and while listening to every song, we thought that "the course of life" was something that could explain the way we want to play music, so we picked the name Lifestream.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?  

Because we fell in love listening to melodic hardcore and the way it creates different emotions while listening to it, so we decided that it was what we wanted to play.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?  

Yes, we've been friends since 2 years by now and we met through this band that our guitarist and other friends of ours started back in the days.

4. Each band member favourite band?  

Alessio's (drums) favourite band are Linkin Park, Federico's (lead guitar) favourite band are Architects , Matteo's (vocals) favourite bands are Counterparts and Architects, Jacopo's (bass) favourite band are Pantera, Gabriele's (rhythm guitar) favourite bands are Counterparts and Bring Me The Horizon.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

Lyrically talking, what inspired Matteo was real life situations that couldn't be explained through simple words so writing those lyrics was sort of a secret diary where you write down all your thoughts. Strumentally talking, we just let go of everything and tried to capture that emotion that was in our mind to write down our songs.

6. Where was your last gig?  

We never played live yet but we already have some dates to play that still have to be confirmed and we can't wait for it !

7. Where would you like to act?  

We would like to act in Japan, definitely ahahah !

8. Whom would you like to feature with?  

We would like to have a feature with Brendan from Counterparts, we really think that it would be an inspiration to us.

9. Whom not?  

There's not really someone who we would not have a feature. We appreciate every work out there as long as there's effort in it.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?  

Actually the only two who ever played live before are Gabriele and Jacopo, the rest of us have never step on a stage, so we surely will experience the panic of our first live. Although we can say that it's good to focus on playing well and let go of all the fears.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?  

The bands that inspired us the most were Counterparts and Architects.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?  

We still haven't experienced such things ahahah !

13. What do you think of your fans?  

We love our fans and we hope that they can feel what we feel with our music, also, we received a lot of good feedback about our songs, and we're proud of it.

14. What do you think of our site?  

We liked a lot your site, especially what your doing with promotion and we hope that you'll become bigger ! Thanks for the opportunity !
