Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Post-Hardcore band Road To Horizon from UK, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

Road To Horizon had no deep meaning behind it when we first started out. It was basically the best in a long list of names.  We’ve come to add meaning to it as time has gone by and to us it basically states that if you work hard enough and give it your all the sky’s the limit in terms of what every individual can achieve.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

We’ve all been a fan of heavy and alternative music since we were all teenagers. We love the passion involved with this genre, the aggression and the sense of being within a family.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

No, we all met through mutual friends and just generally playing in other bands and being part of the local scene.

4. Each band member favourite band?

We all go through stages of getting really into bands. Heres what we’re all currently jamming:

Ben - Deaf Havana

Chris - Sylar

Oli - The Color Morale

Benji - Wolves at the Gate

Sie - The Amity Affliction

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

We take lots of inspiration from many different genres. Musically we like to create a nice balance of melody and contrast it with our heavy parts. It all gels quite well together in a rather unique way we believe. Lyrical content generally involves taking inspiration from personal experiences, world events and things relevant to ourselves.

6. Where was your last gig?

Our last gig was in our hometown, Leeds UK on a short run of tour dates with our good friends in Bentley Park

7. Where would you like to act?

To play Download Festival main stage has always been an ambition of ours but we would love to get over to Soundwave in Aus at some point. That would be epic!

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Would love to tour with A Day To Remember. They look like they have an absolute blast on tour and their live show is always fun, upbeat and the crowds go nuts.

9. Whom not?

I don’t think there are any bands within our scene that we wouldn’t like to tour with. Anyone who we generally wouldn’t fit in with would probably be a nightmare. Bieber? Dolly Parton?

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

We’ve all been in bands for years now so we don’t really experience stage fright as such. There can be a slight nervousness before stage time if its a big show but other that that no. The best way to get round this is just make sure you are totally prepared and then it comes down to doing it so much that you overcome it.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

We always look up to bands from the UK who have slowly climbed the up ranks and are now international touring artists. Bury Tomorrow are a big favourite of ours.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

We have had some slightly strange requests. We had one from Newcastle who wanted us to draw a picture, what we didn’t realise was that she planned to get this tattooed. Now, none of us are artists and I think we ended up drawing a horse with a rocket strapped to its back.

13. What do you think of your fans?

We love all of our fans! It’s amazing to see people who support your music and making a difference to someone through something you have created. Its an amazing feeling. Thank you all!

14. What do you think of our site?

Brilliant! It’s great to see websites and online music magazines supporting unsigned music like us. Makes the difference

15. Something to add?

Just like to say thank you for taking the time to interview us and its a great pleasure to be featured for Breathing the Core
