The Dialectic - Interview

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Metal/Deathcore band The Dialect from USA, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, enjoy this excellent interview of this more excellent.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

The band name actually just kind of floated for a few years. We liked the definition of it, and what it stood for. So we kind of just finally decided to use it because it fit our style very well.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?  

The main reason why is probably because of the term "If the shoe fits. Wear it." we are all huge fans of other genres in metal, but we want to write what we as a band are best at.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?  

Actually now that I think about it, we all met eachother through this band one way or another, because it started from me, and Justin, to adding Trevor, and Derek.

4. Each band member favourite band?  

Mitch: Blink 182

Justin: Meshuggah

Derek: Behemoth

Trevor: Nobuo Uematsu

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

Honestly, the fact that our fans are so good to us makes us want to release new material. We just love hearing what everyone has to say about us. Good, or bad.

6. Where was your last gig?

Crossroads Music Venue, Tyler TX

7. Where would you like to act?  

For me, I would definitely love to see Australia, or Japan

8. Whom would you like to feature with?  

We love working with anyone, it's always awesome to make new friends/fans.

9. Whom not?  

I honestly can't think of anyone we couldn't work with.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?  

I think every one of us gets stage fright right before a set, but it's only until we hit the first note, and then it goes away. The only way to conquer stage fright, is to go up there, and know people are there to see you play.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?  

I would definitely say Meshuggah, and Behemoth are behind us on an inspirational level, but seeing any band play pretty much inspires us to get better.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?  

One time a girl asked me to sign her phone when I was talking to Frankie Muniz. That was pretty odd.

13. What do you think of your fans?  

We love all of 'em! Every last one of you are the best, we couldn't do anything without you!

14. What do you think of our site?

It's awesome, keep it metal!
