A Forbidden Ending - Interview
Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Metalcore/Post-Hardcore band A Forbidden Ending from USA, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!
1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?
The meaning behind the band has a few meanings. Many people might think that it is about love that has a special bond that never ends. Which that is one of the meanings. The other meaning behind the band name is that we as a band and all the fans are a big family that we never want to break, we only want it to grow until it can't any more! We never want to end making music so we push and push with all that we can give!
2.Why did you want to play this genre?
There are many different types of genres that we get into, but hardcore music is one thing we love to make! We just love to rage!
3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?
We've had many lineup changes in the past, and searching for new members is partly what brought us together. Derrick has known Jordan for a long time. They've been in several bands together before. After AFE was formed, the first drummer switched to clean vocals before quitting several months later, which led to Mason joining the band in April 2013. Mason had been friends with Luke for a long time, so after becoming friends with the band, Luke came in as a vocalist in September 2013. Austin came in around that time as well due to the original bassist quitting. Even though we haven't all known each other our whole lives, we've gotten really close and we have formed a brotherhood with each other. We're basically a family.
4. Each band member favorite band?
We don't necessarily have favorite bands, but here are some of the bands we dig! Derrick- Confide & Heartist & Ice Nine Kills Mason- Suicide Silence & Sylar & KING 810 Jordan- Bring Me The Horizon & Slipknot & Nirvana Austin- Machine Head & Slipknot & Beartooth Luke- Capture The Crown & Famous Last Words & Bring Me The Horizon
5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?
Life events usually are the main thing we write around. Such as emotions and tragedies. We also like to write around the aspect of the REAL world, rather than writing about being top dog, because we all start somewhere so there is no need to think we are the best.
6. Where was your last gig?
Our last gig was in Lafayette with our good bro's in Ursa Minor for their CD RELEASE SHOW!
7. Where would you like to act?
Well we would love to be in the Hangover Part 4, because that would be pretty gnarly! In all seriousness, we would love to play all over. Like eventually play Vans Warped Tour, and South By So What and other crazy tours!
8. Whom would you like to feature with?
It would be an honor to feature with Chris Motionless or Spencer from Ice Nine Kills. Eventually we hope to tour when we are well ready and hopefully have some of our local buddies such as Ursa Minor, The Weight Of Us, Among The Brave, Abolisher, We'd Be, Archives Of The Dreamer.
9. Whom not?
One Direction, because we'd just like to be around people that hold respect and are good people.
10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?
We all had stage fright, it is a very scary thing. Our first show ever we played in front of about a total of 150 people. The second we walked up on stage we felt a little better. All we can say is just go up on stage and do it, you may not have your best performance but everyone will understand. In time you will grow!
11. What bands have inspired you the most?
Bring Me The Horizon Slipknot The Color Morale Capture The Crown
12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?
We haven't really been asked anything weird yet, i mean we are still fairly new to the scene. If our fans have asked us anything weird we must not have caught what they said. So i guess fans if you are reading this, help us out!
13. What do you think of your fans?
Our fans, they seem to be the most amazing people ever! To always hear that we have improved our sound, or that the vocals are killer! The words our fans tell us just make us happy and it's always good to hear such kind words, because being in a band it's tough. As much as this sounds cliche, you guys are our backbone to keep moving forward! We love that each and every one of you dig our music and think we have the potential! Every show we usually always pick up a couple new fans and have conversations with them and it seems as if we have been friends for a long time now. It's crazy! Keep the support coming guys! We love all of you! We hope to see you at a show sometime in the future!
14. What do you think of our site?
Breathing The Core site is AMAZING! Because it gives the world new acts to check out, there are interviews about bands so that way everyone can get to know a little more about their possible favorite band. Helping out local bands to big time acts it's amazing! We all need to work like a family and that's what we feel you guys are doing, creating a big family! Thank you for interviewing us, it means a lot to us!
