Hearthsides - Interview

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?  

We were looking a name to convey the warmth, love and security of home. The name just.. came ahahhah

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

Good question, all members of "hearthsides" have other bands, we decided to play this genre because we hear every day, many of us were excited, cry and feel when we listen to our idols. This is why we decided to play this genre.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

4. Each band member favourite band?  

Easy question!

Nestor (bass): BAAO

Gon (guitar): HOURGLASS

Irial (drums): BAAO

Alfonso (Vocals) SEDING LIGTHS

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

We inspire our songs in ourselves. in everything we feel. it's hard to express but we're dying to say to someone. even personal experiences that we somehow changes the course of our life.

6. Where was your last gig?  

Our last gig was in our hometown (Valencia at a) small venue called Darkness pub. That night we played with "Vultures Overhead" and "World to Come" some great guys!

7. Where would you like to act?  

Our dream is to play in uk. but still a dream ahahah.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?  

With MORE THAN LIFE and James W. Matthews or BAAO and Joel Quartuccio. Why not?

We have no answer for this.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?  

Myself! (Alfonso)  I'm still putting me nervous before a concert hahahahahha  Advice?  Get out there and show that you believe in what you do.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?  

Too many bands. More Than Life, Sending Lights, BAAO, Basement, Expire, Have Heart. Actually what inspires us is the overcoming message, It's what makes us keep fighting for our dream.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?  

I don't know if we have fans... we have? ahahhaa What we have is people who support us every day

13. What do you think of your fans?  

Thank you for supporting us every day, and thanks for accept us as we are.

14. What do you think of our site?  

We love the people who help the bands, and also are interested in them. Is a great site to meet new bands and keep up to date musically. Sure, recommended!
