Necrotted - Interview

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Death Metal/Deathcore band Necrotted from Germany, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

‘Necrotted’ is a portmanteau composed of the words ‘necro’ and ‘rotted’. We wanted a band name which is unique, so we created a whole new word. In our opinion, the word ‘necrotted’ describes the sick and sluggy mankind best.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

We don’t care about genres. Of course we are influenced by the bands we are listening to, but generally we just do what we want to do: brutal, ass-kicking music!

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed? 

Yes, we all knew each other for years before the band was founded or new members joined us.

Koray: The Black Dahlia Murder

Markus: Necrophagist

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Satan…just kidding.  As mentioned before, we are inspired by the many bands we like. Lyrically, we mainly approach political, philosophical and social themes.

6. Where was your last gig?

In Munich, Germany. We played together with Six Feet Under.

7. Where would you like to act? 

In space. Apposite to the artwork of our new album ‘Utopia 2.0’.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

A feature song with Phil Bozeman of Whitechapel or CJ McMahon of Thy Art Is Murder would be very cool!

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

No, not really stage fright. It’s often more a thrill of anticipation. To all beginners: just go out on the stage, play the music you love and have fun!

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Despised Icon, Whitechapel

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

At a festival this year, a guy wanted us to sign and paint his whole body. We did it, but it was a little bit weird.

13. What do you think of your fans?

We love them! Every band in the world should respect their fans. Without them you are nothing.

It’s awesome and important! Site like yours keep the scene alive!
