Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Post-Hardcore band Annisokay from Germany, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

The name of the band is a homage to Michael Jackson. It’s kind of an answer to one of his songs everyone knows. In “Smooth Criminal” he is singing Annie are you ok? And we loved the idea to say yes: Ann is okay. But we didn’t planned it or named the band by purpose after this MJ song. It was an unscripted remark we liked.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

It’s simply the music which gets us to play instruments. We grow up listening to metal core bands and thats is still the most fun music for us to play.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

We became friends through the band. We were all playing in other bands and our local music scene isn’t that much big so almost every rock musician knows the others and step by step we found each other to create this band and it fits perfectly.

4. Each band member favorite band?

It is really hard to pick only one favorite because there are so many good bands of so many different styles of music but we try to pick one band which is kind of special for each one of us:

Dave (Shouts): Poison the Well

Christoph (clean Vocals/Guitar): The Devil Wears Prada

Norbert (Bass): Bring Me the Horizon

Daniel (Drums): Deftones

Philipp (Guitar): Incubus

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

The inspiration is life itself. We write about our own personal experiences. We are inspired by good book, movies and of course other bands too.

6. Where was your last gig?

Recently we did our first headline tour through Germany in september 2014 with support by an awesome british metal core band called Shields. The tour was ea great success and we can’t wait for the next one. The last gig we played was in our local area Dessau, Germany.

7. Where would you like to act?

We would love to play shows all over especially place were we have never been like Japan or Australia. The most valuable thing for a band is to see the world and play in so many countries as possible.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

There are tons of musicians who are so talented as one might expect they’re from outer space and to do a feature for example with Wes Borland, Kellin Quinn, Adrian Fitipaldes, Chino Moreno or even Justin Bieber would be an amazing experience.

9. Whom not?

If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Unfortunately we got no tips. Stage fright is part of the game and simply a sign of how exciting it is to play shows. Without stage fright playing a show would be kind of a routine without fun and that would suck so badly.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

We worked with producer Joey Sturgis and we love listen to all of his great productions. This is the sound we love and there are so many great bands he produced that inspired us over the last years we can’t pick one special.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

One guy asked us to do a special show in his living room to get his girlfriend back who cheated on him with his best friend. We said no because whoever cheated on you with your best friend isn’t worth it at all.

13. What do you think of your fans?

Of course they are great! The fans are so important for a band because they are the reason we are able to make records and most important to play shows and to share our music. A show is not just a band playing their songs. It’s a collaboration between the audience and the band. We want our fans to sing, dance and sweat with us otherwise we would rotten in our rehearsal room.

14. What do you think of our site?

It’s a very cool and awesome designed site to read about very cool, fresh and young bands. So thumbs up! We very like it and we’re very thankful to be a part of it. We really appreciate it.

15. Something to add?

We can promise that we have plenty to offer in the near future. At the moment we’re working on our second record, making new music videos and most important we’re planing to play shows all over the world so don’t forget about us and make sure to check our Facebook page for all the new stuff.
