Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Beatdown Hardcore band Emoira from USA, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

Our drummer actually created the name! We used to be called Where Hope Resides and we felt that we outgrew that name and needed a new one. Emoira is a name we prefer and fits our band a lot better.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

Heavy music to us is a way to express ourselves, to get all of our emotions out through our music. We also see it as a way to connect with each other and other people that listen to our music and dig our band.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Yes! We all attended the same high school.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Tough question but,

Brian(Vocalist), Counterparts

James(Drummer), Extermination Dismemberment

Josh(Bassist), Invent, Animate

Josh(Guitarist), I Declare War

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Lyrically, past experiences and problems everyone faces. Instrumental wise, our favorite bands.

6. Where was your last gig?

The Montage Music Hall

7. Where would you like to act?

Where would we like to play? Honestly all over the country eventually. But lately we’ve had the urge to play a house and/or basement show.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Counterparts, Extermination Dismemberment, Invent,Animate, I Declare war, bands that are pretty much within our genre range. It’d be weird if we played a show with a rapper or something like that.

9. Whom not?

Black Veil Brides, BOTDF

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

When we first started the band and started playing our first couple shows some of us were very nervous, but we eventually learned to just do it, feel the music and just do it, eventually playing a show to us was like practicing, we just do it.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

With our current music probably bands like Code Orange, Backtrack, 2x4, Barrier, Expire, Suburban Scum, and our favorite bands.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Our autographs, it surprised us, we’re not really that big yet so it caught us off guard when they asked for our autographs.

13. What do you think of your fans?

We’ve been a band for almost 3 years now and we have had nothing but support from all of our fans, they’ve stuck with us through lineup changes and even our music changing. We honestly never thought we would make it this far.

14. What do you think of our site?

It’s a great site to discover new bands and help bands promote all over the globe.

15. Something to add?

Promoters within the US that can book us!
